Here at EFT we walk the walk and walk the talk, our guides are in effect worldly travelers take for instance our lead guide Cesar Becerra who has on behalf of us and the travel channel traveled all 50 of the United States, hiked the 2,000 mile appalachian trail and for the next ten year when he happy to sponsor Cesar's visit to your school.
Typically there is a speakers fee but all we ask is that you have four of your lead teachers or field trip planners meet with Cesar after his walk and we will be happy to sponsor his visit. You may visit Cesar at www.cesarbecerra.com

World Diabetes Day
and November's National Diabetes Awareness Month is the setting for Diabetic's 500th mile - milestone! Modern Day Marco Polo proves
that 50 State Road Trip and 2,000 mile hike on Appalachian Trail was just
warm up for global walk around the PLANET!

On November 14th, (also known as World Diabetes Day, also the birthday of
Frederick Banting who along with Charles Best in 1921 discovered insulin),
the Diabetic World walker, Cesar A. Becerra celebrates his 500th mile right
smack in the middle of National diabetes Awareness Month. These are the
first few thousand steps on a journey that will cross four continents, 30
countries and will last nearly a decade.

Thirty-two year old Becerra, remembers the day he was diagnosed with Type
2 Diabetes. "I instantly slipped into a depression, the whole world looked
as if it was coming to an end. Now I know that having Diabetes is far from
the end, it is in fact a grand beginning. Just because you have Diabetes,
doesn't mean Diabetes has you!"

Becerra manages his Diabetes with diet and exercise instead of drugs. He
hopes to inspire and set an example that just a daily regimen of walking
each day can significantly assist Diabetics young and old control their
Diabetes. "Once its under control. well there is nothing you can't do!"

Becerra has walked from Key West to Jacksonville and is currently just
crossed the Georgia state line on his northerly trek to Macon and Atlanta
(his next two major cities) as he begins heading west across America to Los
Angeles, where he will then head on to Japan, South Korea, China and so on
across and around the planet.

To help support his World Walk logistics Fund as well as donate your tax
deductible contribution to several Diabetes Groups you can visit his
web site
where over 30 products with the World Walk logo are for sale at
