DAY 1- MEXICO CITY
Depart from the U.S. and arrive in Mexico City. Remainder of the day is at leisure.
DAY 2- MEXICO CITY
A local guide will conduct a city sightseeing tour, including the world-famous Museum of Anthropology. Also see University City, Olympic Stadium, Lava Gardens, and Chapultepec Park. This evening you may want to visit the Latin American Tower.
DAY 3- MEXICO CITY
Today's excursion takes you first to the venerated Shrine of Guadalupe and then on to the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon at San Juan Teotihuacan. Walk along the Avenue of the Dead and see temple ruins.
DAY 4- MEXICO CITY
Today enjoy a boat ride through the Floating Gardens of Xochimilco, with mariachi music played by bands on flower-decorated boats. Return for this evening's Ballet Folklórico, Mexico's finest, featuring the costumes and dances that span many centuries of Mexico's history.
DAY 5- MEXICO CITY, TAXCO
Depart from Mexico City and travel to Taxco. This afternoon's sightseeing includes the dazzling Church of Santa Prisca. Time to stroll the narrow streets and outdoor markets.
DAY 6- TAXCO, ACAPULCO
Depart from Taxco. Drive through banana and sugarcane plantations to the sun-drenched Pacific coast. Time to relax on the beach.
DAY 7- ACAPULCO
Start the day with a dreamy yacht cruise around the harbor and up the Pacific coast for fabulous views. This afternoon's city tour takes you to the Old Town, the fishing wharves, and the city's Mercado Municipale. You will also see Acapulco's famous cliff divers in action.
DAY 8- DEPARTURE
Return to the USA.
