Archaeological: a Dig
Uncover the past and dig up pieces of south Florida’s history during this three part program.
I. Participate in an actual dig and discover authentic artifacts using archaeological methods and tools
II. Explore the museums storage collection and conservation facility. Tour the prehistoric galleries and learn about the discoveries of the Miami Circle.
III. Create an Artifact out of clay to take home.

Oh , say can you see your American history? From sea to shinning sea, investigate the exploration, colonization and creation of our great nation. During a hands-on tour, students become conquistadors, colonists, pirates and patriots, while learning about Florida’s impact on the history of the United States.
