Educational Theme Park Events
In addition to the rides, entertainment, and shopping there are a variety of Educational Events that are hosted at various parks year round. See what goes into making these theme parks magical and learn how they run.
Busch Gardens Zoo School - Zoo School offers a variety of programming to students K - 12 that is age appropriate, educational and fun! A Busch Gardens Educator will narrate your trip on an educational train expedition while checking in with animal keepers and incorporating the Wildlife Theater Presentation along the way. Their wildlife experiences help teach students- in an active, hands-on way- about the environment and the animals that live in it.
Disney Youth Education Series (Y.E.S) Programs – These programs are available year-round and are taught by specially trained Disney facilitators. The Y.E.S. programs are offered in four disciplines — Leadership & Careers, Arts & Humanities, Physical Sciences and Natural Sciences. Through these programs students gain hands-on experience which will increase their retention, get them excited about their future careers, understand the importance of teamwork, bridge what they learn in the classroom with the real world and see how they are applied through the park.
SeaWorld Sleep away Camp – Enjoy single, multi night or week long programs you will explore the world of animals in sea, land and air by doing up-close, hands-on activities in SeaWorld and Aquatica. Age appropriate activities for each group are available and can be created to match any curriculum.
Universal Studios - Behind the Scenes Tours
Behind the Adventure – This is a Science and Technology Tour of Islands of Adventure that showcases the physics, technology and general sciences that went into creating the most popular attractions at the park.
Special F/X Tour – Discover the Secrets of Movie Magic through this interactive tour of Universal Studios, students will learn about the arts and sciences used to create movie magic, make-up and set design secrets.
School of Rock – This tour focuses on the hospitality industry as participants tour the Hard Rock Hotel® and learn what goes into making a business run, the challenges involved
and discover many of the career opportunities available.
Universal Studios - The First Hand Learning Series
Participants get to meet and speak with a variety of industry experts in one-hour programs that provide students with an insiders look at different careers and how their classroom lessons apply to the real world.
Ride Design – This is the perfect tour for any student interested in mechanical enginerring because it provides an in-depth discussion of the ride design process. Students will meet engineers from Universal Creative to learn about the process of creating and future attractions.
Marketing and Sales – Learn how they created one of the most recognized and popular brands in the world. Topics include advertising, promotions, brand marketing and marketing research.
Culinary Arts – Take a tour of several professional kitchens and learn about careers in the culinary arts field. Top it off with a slice of pizza from one of the kitchens you’ll tour.
Career Preparation – Build a foundation for success in the classroom and workplace. Students will meet Universal Orland Staffing Recruiters to learn about how to build a successful cover letter/resume as well as discuss topics regarding responsible social networking, professional etiquette, leadership and effective ways to market yourself to potential employers.
Performing Arts Workshops – Choose from Audition Technique or Improvisation Technique

Universal Studios Assembly Programs
Anne Frank: Through the Eyes of a Friend - This moving performance is a poignant portrait of friendship and survival during the Holocaust, brought to life through the eyes of Anne Frank’s best friend.
The Right to Dream - This live performance, set in Mississippi during the 1950’s and 1960’s, tells a compelling story about the struggle and sacrifice for civil rights in America leading audiences to understand how the fight against prejudice has shaped our history.
GE Ecomagination – Go Green! Learn about finding helpful energy alternatives such as wind and solar power, reduction of emissions and cleaner water. Topics include Environmental Science, Invention and Innovation, Global Business and Corporate Leadership.
