Student Field Trips and Educational Tours to New York City
Take a trip to New York and take a bite out of the Big Apple!
From Wall Street to Times Square to Central Park and the Museum of Natural History New York has it all. Catch a show on Broadway at night and use the subway to cruise through Manhattan by day. Do some shopping in China town and have pasta in Little Italy. There are always tons of things to do and see. Take a day trip to Ellis Island and experience what millions of immigrants did when they came to America, you may even be able to find some of your own relatives names on the books that walked through the same halls they did many years before. Take a fairy to the Statue of Liberty and catch a major league baseball game at Yankee stadium. Anything is possible in New York. If you can make it there, you can make it anywhere!
This program was created to be flexible, any group with any skill level can participate in the majority of the workshops. EFT will provide you with a pre-workshop questionnaire and we will customize each workshop to meet your group's needs.
Each workshop is unique; however, there are some details that are consistent for all of the Broadway Classroom workshops.
• A private workshop. You will not be combined with other groups.
• Scheduled at your convenience
• Workshops are 90 minutes (except where noted)
• A representative will be on-site to ensure the workshop runs smoothly.
• A Broadway performer may teach your workshop or be a guest at the end of a session, except where noted.
• Held in theatrical rehearsal studios
(most are within walking distance to the theatre)
• Taught by qualified teaching artists and Broadway performers
• Based on National Standards for Art Education
• Two chaperone comps are provided for every 25 paid students
